Economic Development Board
The Economic Development Board (EDB) is Singapore's lead agency responsible for planning and executing strategies to sustain Singapore's position as a global hub for business and investment.

We work closely with local and foreign companies across a diverse range of activities in both manufacturing and services to help them move towards higher value-creating operations in an increasingly knowledge-based and innovation-driven environment. We also encourage companies to use Singapore as a headquarters and total business centre to manage their global or regional functions to service their global or Asia Pacific operations.

Singapore is today a "Global Entrepolis" - a unique marketplace where deals are made, funds are raised, creative ideas are exchanged and realised, and new innovative enterprises incorporated and partnerships forged. EDB acts as a catalyst and facilitator to ensure a thriving "enterprise ecosystem" in Singapore. We encourage innovation and entrepreneurship by helping to create an environment which is conducive for start-ups and companies of all sizes to interact with each other with good corporate governance practices and where intellectual property is protected.

JTC Corporation
JTC Corporation is Singapore's leading master-planner, developer and manager of high-quality industrial facilities and business parks. It is also the master developer for one-north at Buona Vista - a 200-hectare development for research and development and entrepreneurial activities.

With a focus on knowledge-intensive activities in the biomedical, info-communications and media industries, one-north will be an innovation hotspot incorporating research laboratories, offices, homes, parks and educational institutions. Established in 1968, the Corporation has a track record of developing 7,000 hectares of industrial land and over 4 million square metres of ready-built factory space. It now manages 38 industrial and specialised parks, including three wafer fab parks, two business parks, a chemicals hub at Jurong Island and a biomedical park in Tuas. Together, they house some 7,000 local and foreign companies.
