Phase Z.Ro (February 2001 - Present) 

Official Launch of Phase Z.Ro (6 February 2001)
Phase Z.ro was launched officially at Tango @ Holland Village by Mr. Lim Neo Chian (Chairman JTC). As the precursor to one-north, it created an immediate presence and was well received by the industry.

Phase Z.Ro provides a vibrant technopreneurial environment that is constantly rejuvenating, buzzing with innovative energy and fun. Many IT startups cultivated their business from here.  

Appointment of Masterplan and Transport Consultant (5 June 2001)

one-north gets off to a flying start as Zaha Hadid Pte. Ltd. and MVA Asia Ltd. were appointed as the Masterplan and Transport Consultants respectively. The signing ceremony took place at the African Heartbeat @ Science Park, a place symbolic with reativity, innovation and experimentation. The event was graced by Mr. Philip Yeo (Chairman A*STAR), Mr Lim Neo Chian (Chairman JTC) and Mr Chong Lit Cheong (CEO JTC).

Resource Advisory Panel (July 2001 - Present)

The RAP was set up to facilitate collaboration with leading global experts from various fields including town planning, life sciences, architecture etc. There have been 7 RAP sessions and the members have contributed immensely to the one-north development.

Launch of one-north (4 December 2001)

A fantastic day! one-north was officially launched on 4 December 2001 by Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Tony Tan. Minister for Education, RAdm Teo Chee Hean was also present to show his support for this prestigious project.

Biopolis (December 2001 - Present)

Biopolis Groundbreaking (6 December 2001)
one-north progresses at an astounding pace at Biopolis, the premier hub for life science research and development in Singapore, broke ground on 6 Dec 2001, merely 2 days after the official launch of one-north. BG (NS) George Yeo, Minister for Trade and Industry) was the Guest of Honour for this symbolic groundbreaking ceremony.

Biopolis Building Process (December 2001 - May 2003)
Biopolis makes tremendous progress as construction work progresses at an unprecedented rate. 7 buildings will be available in phases from early Q3 2003 to Q1 2004.

Biopolis Topping Up (15 January 2003)
Biopolis reached a significant milestone as the highest levels for the first 3 buildings were completed. Mr Lim Swee Say (Minister of Environment) graced the occasion and 'cemented' this achievement at the highest floor.

Biopolis Phase 1 Completion (Q1 2004)
Biopolis Phase 1 with a built-up area of 185,000 sqm was successfully completed.

Biopolis Phase 2 Completion (30 October 2006)
Biopolis Phase 2 was completed adding two more blocks, Neuros and Immunos, to the exisiting seven Biopolis Phase 1 buildings. Phase 2 was constructed by Ascendas, a leading business space provider.

Chip Bee Garden (Launch Q3 2003)

Chip Bee Gardens @ Holland Village has been transformed into work lofts to cater to the immediate needs of the one-north community.

NTU Alumni Campus @ one-north

Groundbreak of NTU Campus @ one-north (19 December 2002)
Dr Tony Tan (Deputy Prime Minister) was the Guest of Honour at NTU's groundbreaking ceremony for their Buona Vista Campus within one-north. The City Campus would contribute immensely to one-north's learn environment with its pool of talented students and researchers.

Completion of NTU Alumni Campus (1Q 2006)
The NTU Campus @ one-north which comprises of educational and alumni clubhouse facilities was completed.

Fusionopolis (February 2003 - Present)

Fusionopolis Groundbreaking (20 February 2003)
Fusionopolis - the choice location for world-class infocomms and media enterprises to work, live, play, learn and experiment, groundbroke on 20 February 2003. Mr David Lim (Acting Minister MITA) was the Guest of Honour for this event.

Condominium @ one-north (September 2005 - Present)

Signing Ceremony for New Economy Condominium (2 September 2005) Vista Development Pte Ltd, a consortium comprising Kheng Leong, United Overseas Land and Low Keng Huat, was appointed by JTC to develop a New Economy Condominium in one-north through a Request-for-Proposal process. The condominium will be built on a site of about 170,737 sq ft. and have a gross floor area of 426,842 sq ft. It is slated to be completed by end-2008.

Rochester 11 (November 2005 - Present)

Eleven units of Black and White bungalows located within Rochester Park have been converted into F&B and lifestyle outlets. Surrounded by lush greeneries, Rochester 11 became an instant hit with those looking for a different dining experience.

Integrated Business Hotel & South Park Quadrant (November 2005 - Present)

Award of Project (November 2005)
United Engineers Developments Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of United Engineers Limited was appointed by JTC Corporation to develop a small to medium-sized business hotel and serviced apartment of up to 200 rooms each, plus a block of 300 units of residential apartments and 100 units of mezzanine level small office home office. The development is expected to be ready for business by mid-2009.
